Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Markus Tømmervik got the match started through his kick off. Stein Naas came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Med Gang FC's Emanuel Vedholm. But to his dismay, Emanuel Vedholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute Emil Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Naas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Vedå's late challenge caught a Med Gang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Vedå helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Med Gang FC booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Vedå didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Emil Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Naas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stein Naas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vedholm in the 18th minute of the match. George Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Tømmervik, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jarl Eckegren charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Eckegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Eckegren to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Vedholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Med Gang FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 24th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Legia Stavanger's Stein Naas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Vedholm in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Med Gang FC's Jimmy Göransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stein Naas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Stein Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Eckegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stein Naas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Björkqvist went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Emil Björkqvist took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stein Naas. Stein Naas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 44th minute, Emil Björkqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Med Gang FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Vedholm made a kick off. Legia Stavanger's Stein Naas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Legia Stavanger from getting a goal against them. Stein Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Göransson scored 1-7 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stein Naas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Thorbjørn Stølen got a free kick in the 67th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Med Gang FC's Edvard Fågel tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Stein Naas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Emanuel Vedholm sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, Edvard Fågel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Med Gang FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Stavanger the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Björkqvist in the 88th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Stein Naas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stein Naas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Vedholm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-11 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Med Gang FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legia Stavanger.
