An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Carr in the 6th minute of play forced BuanaRaya's goalkeeper Widyawan Gustav to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Topan Sucipto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Widyawan Gustav made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. BuanaRaya's Widyawan Gustav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler McCraw in the 21st minute of play. Logan McCubbin might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Widyawan Gustav. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Logan McCubbin ran back to his position shaking his head. Logan McCubbin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Widyawan Gustav. Widyawan Gustav dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 37th minute, Patrick Sporran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Rolly Prabowo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolly Prabowo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Sporran during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrick Sporran hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raymond Johnston stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BuanaRaya's Yance Sujatmiko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gary Gowan, made in the 56th minute of the game. BuanaRaya's Widyawan Gustav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Charles in the 58th minute of play. Widyawan Gustav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Johnston, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Widyawan Gustav made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Johnston in the 65th minute of play. Topan Sucipto's late challenge caught a Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Topan Sucipto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Topan Sucipto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Charles hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, BuanaRaya's Yance Sujatmiko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yance Sujatmiko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BuanaRaya protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yance Sujatmiko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 81st minute, Topan Sucipto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fergus Fairbairn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 86th minute, Logan McCubbin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Tyler McCraw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Widyawan Gustav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Patrick Sporran hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Rangers FC were the better team. Rangers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
