Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Percival de Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Severo Rubio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diamantino de Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Rubio in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Niceto Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Dracena hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Marcelo Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dudu Mesquita hit a great ball. When Hélio Terra came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Airborne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Terra couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Mino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Barreal FC's Honorato Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Mesquita in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nicolas-Gabriel Otamendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Melo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Barreal FC's Niceto Leguizamón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Terra to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Niceto Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barreal FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcos Salvino hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Terra in the 55th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Honorato Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Hipolito Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino de Queiroz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barreal FC's Apolo Teodor got a free kick in the 61st minute. Barreal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severo Rubio in the 71st minute. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Leguizamón in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Severo Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diamantino de Queiroz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 81st minute of the match Barreal FC got a corner. Airborne FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severo Rubio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 82 minutes into the game, Niceto Leguizamón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Diamantino de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niceto Leguizamón took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Diamantino de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Leguizamón in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Leguizamón in the 95th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
