Severino Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Raszkiewicz in the 4th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Wiktor Wierzchowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie and the Palermo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Odilon in the 12th minute of play. Lucjan Oborski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Odilon in the 16th minute of play. Godofredo Gabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lucjan Oborski made a huge save. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Ruszczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Israel Odilon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lucjan Oborski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucjan Oborski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Sasoin in the 26th minute of play. Israel Odilons short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Lucjan Oborski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Israel Odilon in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucjan Oborski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Severino Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Stanislao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Oborski came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodosio Stanislao slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute of the match Teodosio Stanislao sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Oborski skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Severino Barros made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Teobald Ruszczyk sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie defense, Teodosio Stanislao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Oborski. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Oborski should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute of the match Anacleto Damario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Oborski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaroslaw Nigbor kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lucjan Oborski came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo AFC's Israel Odilon. But to his dismay, Israel Odilon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Teodosio Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Oborski. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Stanislao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Everardo Esquipula hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Aubertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucjan Oborski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Gabon in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Teodosio Stanislao sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski didn't even have to move. Palermo AFC's Severino Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo AFC from getting a goal against them. Palermo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie for a fine match.
