A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Everardo Esquipula hit a great ball. When Hélio Terra came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Airborne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Terra couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Melo in the 60th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Sasoin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match.
