The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Carlinhos Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Velasco in the 7th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arman Skog hit a great ball. José Maria Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Velasco in the 12th minute of the match. Fredrik Karlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but José Maria Souza made a huge save. Talento Futebol clube's José Maria Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Klint in the 14th minute of play. Göran Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Souza having to interfere. Saul Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Göran Wickander charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Wickander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pauliström's Göran Wickander got a free kick in the 25th minute. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Velasco in the 27th minute of the match. José Maria Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Klint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Talento Futebol clube getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carlinhos Velasco hit a great ball. Carlinhos Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Göran Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Tadeu Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Wall made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Carlinhos Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Talento Futebol clube were awarded a corner. Fraco Zago went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fraco Zago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Malcolm Wall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlinhos Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birger Klint struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. José Maria Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pauliström. If Carlinhos Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Talento Futebol clube's Malcolm Wall threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlinhos Velasco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlinhos Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Velasco in the 73rd minute of the match. When Arman Skog fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliström's protests and gave Arman Skog a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Michael Wikander. In the 77th minute, Carlinhos Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malcolm Wall made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Carlinhos Velasco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Arman Skog hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Lindblom during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Talento Futebol clube made a substitution. José Paulo Prestes replaced Zhu Zhen Ran. The referee gave Talento Futebol clube a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fraco Zago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pauliström's Malcolm Wall. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pauliström's zone, Carlinhos Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal and Carlinhos Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malcolm Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos Velasco's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The Talento Futebol clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
