Guga Souza started the match with the kick off. Cido da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvis De la Rosa in the 3rd minute of the match. When Elvis De la Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nubecitas FC's protests and gave Elvis De la Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. Elvis De la Rosa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Joan Jobert kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Nubecitas FC's Anko Bravo got control of the ball when Miguel de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nubecitas FC's Romeo Olmos in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guga Souza scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anko Bravo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cortez Losada lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Matungo Gaúcho a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dário da Cunha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nubecitas FC's Anko Bravo. 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nubecitas FC's zone, Dário da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anko Bravo came out of the goal and Dário da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Guga Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anko Bravo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Nubecitas FC's Elvis De la Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matungo Gaúcho's Dário da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekaitz Grau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Guga Souza notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Nubecitas FC's Anko Bravo. Anko Bravo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Fellipe da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 57th minute, Miguel de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nubecitas FC's Anko Bravo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel de Andrade in the 60th minute of play. Elvis De la Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekaitz Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cido da Rocha made a huge save. Miguel de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Anko Bravo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Miguel de Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matungo Gaúcho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nubecitas FC the free kick. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Souza couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Matungo Gaúcho fully deserved thier win.
