The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when ToCoTaN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. ToCoTaN FC's Carolo Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 24th minute of play. Carolo Sasoin was a little too slow when Kyriakos Lavdas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mariano Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Florentino Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Guido Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Kois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Simon Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot. ToCoTaN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Chico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loukas Kois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kyriakos Lavdas fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkyra FC's protests and gave Kyriakos Lavdas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Lavdas to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Guido Confesor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Loukas Kois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vassilis Katsourinis was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Simon Chico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Loukas Kois, 1-3. Loukas Kois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Kyriakos Lavdas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Kerkyra FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kyriakos Lavdas hit a great ball. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Danel in the 74th minute of play. Loukas Kois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Maragozis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ToCoTaN FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
