Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Aguiar in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Donovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horace Vaughn succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. When Tiaguinho de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Deleon's protests and gave Tiaguinho de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. Tiaguinho de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Eurico Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Donovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Aguiar in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olympique Deleon's Cacá Prestes got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute Eurico Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Donovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Lira was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Horace Vaughn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horace Vaughn really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Donovan was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Horace Vaughn took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléber Lira. Kléber Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tiaguinho de Carvalho hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Beau Hinojosa put in a rough tackle. Flames FC's Tomas Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Aguiar in the 71st minute of play. If Orval Crow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, Flames FC's Ambrose Keen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléber Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gheorghe Uncu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Deleon's protests and gave Gheorghe Uncu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Olympique Deleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Uncu to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Orval Crow notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Olympique Deleon's Kléber Lira. Kléber Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eurico Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurico Aguiar couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flames FC fully deserved thier win.
