Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Reinaldo da Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Paulinho Hoffmann notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha. Jacinto Quintanilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Quintanilha came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Paulinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacinto Quintanilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diguinho Abreu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Reinaldo da Costa scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Quintanilha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremiah St. Juste's late challenge caught a Laguna Sunrise FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremiah St. Juste helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Sporting Clube de Gaya got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah St. Juste. Reinaldo da Costa struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laguna Sunrise FC. Arnaldo Marquez's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube de Gaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After a rather tough play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Arnaldo Marquez got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Sporting Clube de Gaya were awarded a corner. Cassiano Madruga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cassiano Madruga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emílio Peres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jacinto Quintanilha came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Laguna Sunrise FC's Reinaldo da Costa. But to his dismay, Reinaldo da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 29th minute, Aristides Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Quintanilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo da Costa in the 30th minute of play. Jacinto Quintanilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jacinto Quintanilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann in the 37th minute of play. Jacinto Quintanilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo da Costa in the 38th minute of play. When Anísio Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Laguna Sunrise FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Jacinto Quintanilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Hoffmann in the 44th minute of play. Aristides Veloso hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jacinto Quintanilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo da Costa in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Paulinho Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laguna Sunrise FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

Jacinto Quintanilha was a little too slow when Paulinho Hoffmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-7. 58 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Jacinto Quintanilha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacinto Quintanilha made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Anísio Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Reinaldo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Arnaldo Marquez made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Quintanilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute Tomé Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Quintanilha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo da Costa's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann in the 77th minute of play. After 81 minutes Laguna Sunrise FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassiano Madruga who took care of the corner kick. Sporting Clube de Gaya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Paulinho Hoffmann scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Quintanilha, making the score, 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Hoffmann in the 87th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Jacinto Quintanilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Laguna Sunrise FC's Arnaldo Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Quintanilha. Jacinto Quintanilha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. In the 92nd minute, Paulinho Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Quintanilha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. 96 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Marquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacinto Quintanilha, 0-14. The Sporting Clube de Gaya fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Laguna Sunrise FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
