Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reinaldo da Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Wellington Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heithem Kaâbi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ammar Aziza hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Miaâdi during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Mohamed Miaâdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Reinaldo da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heithem Kaâbi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Chaouki Loussayef fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Symba's protests and gave Chaouki Loussayef a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laguna Sunrise FC booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaouki Loussayef didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Reinaldo da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heithem Kaâbi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Arantes in the 29th minute of play forced Laguna Sunrise FC's goalkeeper Emílio Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anísio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laguna Sunrise FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anísio Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heithem Kaâbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heithem Kaâbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Laguna Sunrise FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Marquez. Thanks to some nice moves Reinaldo da Costa could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Heithem Kaâbi however easily saved by the left post. Paulinho Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heithem Kaâbi was a little too slow when Reinaldo da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. The supporters of Symba booed when Laguna Sunrise FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Symba's zone, Paulinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heithem Kaâbi came out of the goal and Paulinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chaouki Loussayef was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by David Achour. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Miaâdi got free with Emílio Peres in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heithem Kaâbi having to interfere. Heithem Kaâbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laguna Sunrise FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Symba the free kick. In the 69th minute, Mohamed Miaâdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Heithem Kaâbi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulinho Hoffmann went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Wellington Ferraz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Emílio Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Arantes in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes Laguna Sunrise FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Achour who took care of the corner kick. Otávio Pitta lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laguna Sunrise FC! After a rather tough play, Symba's David Achour got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Reinaldo da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguna Sunrise FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Symba's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Laguna Sunrise FC had won, even though Symba had held more of the ball.
