The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Atlético Nuevo Laredo defense, Americo Leheren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Javiero. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Javiero should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Ricky Dacio made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Javiero. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Oier in the 9th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Ramiro Llorienzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATE AFC the free kick. Ramiro Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ricky Dacio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Benicio Javiero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATE AFC. 16 minutes into the game, Americo Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATE AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nuevo Laredo the free kick. In the 17th match minute, ATE AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Leheren to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Leheren came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Nazaria was a little too slow when Amador Guipuzkoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Americo Leheren notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benicio Javiero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Israel Oier went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Tobias Wijgaert charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Wijgaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Tobias Wijgaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Leheren came free, but Benicio Javiero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ATE AFC's Ricky Dacio. But to his dismay, Ricky Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Oier in the 39th minute of play. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Dacio in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes ATE AFC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Leheren. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATE AFC were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Oier to make the kick off. Benicio Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Dacio in the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Israel Oier took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Benicio Javiero to make any attempt to save it. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Dacio in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero got control of the ball when Israel Oier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Israel Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Dacio in the 84th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored ATE AFC's protests and gave Nunez Tavio a yellow card for diving instead. Nunez Tavio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mihail Nazaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Eguzki in the 96th minute of play. ATE AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
