In the 8th minute, Pál Sári made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th match minute, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bálint Pásztor to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Bento struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Máté Saághy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catarinense F.C.. In the 13th match minute, Catarinense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Henry to maneuver through the defense. Emil Pettersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benicio Gaitan came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Pettersson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Dobránszky in the 20th minute of play. Csaba Németh scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Gaitan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Catarinense F.C.'s Baldomiro Henry got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 29th play minutes Emil Pettersson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Benicio Gaitan and just under the crossbar into goal. When Csaba Németh fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's protests and gave Csaba Németh a yellow card for diving instead. Csaba Németh hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Bálint Pásztor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benicio Gaitan came out and tried to block the shot, but Bálint Pásztor slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Emil Pettersson took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Benicio Gaitan to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Gabon to make the kick off. Alejandro Perutxo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Bento came free, but Máté Saághy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Pettersson in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK got a corner. Catarinense F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zénó Veress ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's corner Zénó Veress fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benicio Gaitan quite easily take care of the ball. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Csaba Németh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Pettersson went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Catarinense F.C. booed when BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Dobránszky didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Dobránszky in the 83rd minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Csaba Németh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Cortez. Csaba Németh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Gaitan having to interfere. Benicio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Sári in the 94th minute of the match. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Sári in the 95th minute of play.
