Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Catarinense F.C. booed when Reac Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Benicio Gaitan made a huge save. Reac Futebol Clube's Gabi Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexsandro Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Vieira in the 15th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Benicio Gaitan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Catarinense F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Alexsandro Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Benicio Gaitan, making the score, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Reac Futebol Clube's Benicio Gaitan threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexsandro Vieira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Abelardo Lauaxeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catarinense F.C. and the Reac Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abelardo Lauaxeta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Reac Futebol Clube's Gabi Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 47th minute Alexsandro Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabi Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Reac Futebol Clube's Hugo Machado in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Catarinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Hugo Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Gol came free, but Benicio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarinense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Gabon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabi Gol took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Gaitan. Benicio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 81 played minutes Catarinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Abilio. After 85 minutes, Hugo Machado made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benicio Gaitan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Faustino Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Alexsandro Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Gaitan was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Reac Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
