When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Ponc to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Rogelio Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chanchos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rosendo Estevez hit a great ball. Gervasio Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Aragones, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gervasio Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Aragones went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Chanchos's Gervasio Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Aragones in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Luís Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Companys came free, but Gervasio Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
