In the 25th minute Orlando Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ITAFUT 4EVER. After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Fred Coutinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. Fred Coutinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ronaldinho Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Di Lullo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Edoardo Cabrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the ITAFUT 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Costa in the 65th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
