In the 22nd minute of the match, Marcel Lira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Andrzejewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Zgierskie Zlewy's Maciej Kaszubik got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jedrzej Kempski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Andrzejewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 56 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Mendonça came free, but Jan Andrzejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Andrzejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Marian Michna fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zgierskie Zlewy's protests and gave Marian Michna a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Roberto Velasco scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Andrzejewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Júbilo Iwata's Marcel Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Andrzejewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Velasco came free, but Jan Andrzejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Júbilo Iwata were the better team. Júbilo Iwata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
