Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcel Lira started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Júbilo Iwata got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Velasco. Zé Roberto Velasco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nereo Jurgi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcel Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Nereo Jurgi made a huge save. Nereo Jurgi was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Marcel Lira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcel Lira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Júbilo Iwata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Correia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Bermudo in the 23rd minute of play forced Júbilo Iwata's goalkeeper Giovanni Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Alvi Boton were awarded a corner. Javier Raymon went to the cornerflag to take it. Décio Paraibano tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Giovanni Pena. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 25th minute. Nereo Jurgi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Roberto Velasco went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Clodoveo Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Giovanni Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro de Barros hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jalen Brunson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovanni Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ðura Snob, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Jalen Brunson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Enzo Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Décio Paraibano during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alvi Boton booed when Júbilo Iwata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júbilo Iwata made a substitution. André Luiz Salgado replaced Décio Paraibano. In the 65th minute, Décio Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, Alvi Boton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Galoer to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Zé Roberto Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Jurgi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Júbilo Iwata's Elenko Hrulev. But to his dismay, Elenko Hrulev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nereo Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Sandro de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Júbilo Iwata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvi Boton the free kick. A collision led to Júbilo Iwata getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sandro de Barros hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Elenko Hrulev notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Alvi Boton's Nereo Jurgi. Nereo Jurgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes Alvi Boton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chico Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. Alvi Boton's Javier Raymon got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Alvi Boton got a freekick which was hit by Javier Raymon. Júbilo Iwata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
