Lucílio Soeiro, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When João Raposo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loures's protests and gave João Raposo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Loures getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. João Raposo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Azevedo in the 67th minute of play forced FC DAC 1904's goalkeeper Michal Praženica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Loures from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC DAC 1904 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
