Nicolas Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Negri in the 13th minute of the match. Nicolas Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nicolas Vilalobos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anísio Negri went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nicolas Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Regueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Maurinho Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Vilalobos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Tavares in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Vilalobos saved Loures from getting behind. Abel Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Vilalobos having to interfere. The Loures players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PIAUÍ FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Vilalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Donatello in the 57th minute. Anísio Negri struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nicolas Vilalobos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PIAUÍ FC. PIAUÍ FC's Flávio Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Artur Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loures fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Artur Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loures's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Anísio Negri scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Vilalobos, making the score, 2-4. Maurinho Tavares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Vilalobos having to make a save. Nicolas Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Tavares in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Maurinho Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flávio Mendonça hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Fernandinho Pena put in a rough tackle. 86 minutes into the game, one of PIAUÍ FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as PIAUÍ FC's Anísio Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Vilalobos. That made the score 3-5 after 98 minutes of play. The Loures supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching PIAUÍ FC's performance. The match ended with a win for PIAUÍ FC.
