The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 29 minutes of play, Mochila FC's Zé Roberto Fonseca made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Váldson Alagoano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Roberto Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias got a free kick in the 51st minute. Váldson Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Falcão in the 59th minute. Petru Măguran's late challenge caught a Carrapichel - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Măguran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Petru Măguran hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Zézinho Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tostão Varela was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Paulista in the 69th minute of play. Tostão Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes, Sidnei Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mochila FC and the Carrapichel - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, one of Mochila FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mochila FC. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Carrapichel - FDFDF. Tony Dias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tostão Varela. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mochila FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
