The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Chaves in the 9th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Cresitobalo Candela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Zandarin FC's Tiago Gabriel Capixaba got control of the ball when Fran Gómez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cresitobalo Candela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 13th minute of play. When Christiano Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Zandarin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Chaves couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Zandarin FC's Christiano Chaves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cresitobalo Candela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fran Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Christiano Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zandarin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Christiano Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cresitobalo Candela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cresitobalo Candela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 39th minute of the match. When Gugu Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zandarin FC's protests and gave Gugu Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tome Bouzas. Cresitobalo Candela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Chaves in the 44th minute of the match. Tome Bouzas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Gabriel Capixaba. Zandarin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavinho Rosado to make the kick off. Henric Aguilar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Auriolam II C.F.'s Fran Gómez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuri Benítez in the 62nd minute of the match. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Zandarin FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 71 minutes into the game, Christiano Chaves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cresitobalo Candela. Christiano Chaves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuri Benítez in the 80th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cresitobalo Candela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Gugu Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zandarin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zandarin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
