Alexsandro Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Davy Reuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Catarinense in the 11th minute of play. When Cauã Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samurai Champions FC's protests and gave Cauã Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Oiteiras's Renatinho Loyola tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Oiteiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Amaral got free with Davy Reuter in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emerson Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alexsandro Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 32nd minute when Emerson Salles elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mauro Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Salles to make the kick off. Emerson Salles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Alexsandro Netto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dadá Perez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dadá Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. Alexsandro Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emerson Salles in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Netto saved Samurai Champions FC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Alexsandro Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldão Fontes. In the 92nd minute, Emerson Salles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alexsandro Netto, passed just outside the right post. When the match was over Oiteiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Samurai Champions FC throughout the match.
