In the 9th minute Luli Lulev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davy Reuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víctor-Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Salgado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. Monitor Huáscar's Turi Larrategui was substituted for Haimar Moixi. Monitor Huáscar:s Ferman Basabe showed great skill when he stopped Renatinho Loyola:s penalty. 13 minutes into the game, Oiteiras's Ronaldão Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferman Basabe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Oiteiras booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Varez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferman Basabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Loyola in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ronaldão Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oiteiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferman Basabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Oiteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Gilabert Ruega came free, but Davy Reuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davy Reuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilabert Ruega, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oiteiras the free kick. David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Salles in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferman Basabe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Fontes in the 34th minute of play. Ferman Basabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davy Reuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilabert Ruega in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ronaldão Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferman Basabe was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Ferman Basabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Monitor Huáscar defense, Pedrão Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferman Basabe. The Monitor Huáscar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferman Basabe should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilabert Ruega made a kick off. Ferman Basabe made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ronaldão Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Pedrão Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monitor Huáscar's Benigno Torne was substituted for David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado. Pedrão Jacinto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Oiteiras's Dime Darrell was substituted for Dadá Perez. After a rather tough play, Oiteiras's Pedrão Jacinto got a free kick in the 64th minute. Davy Reuter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilabert Ruega in the 65th minute of the match. Ronaldão Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ferman Basabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Basabe having to interfere. Oiteiras made a substitution. Fellipe Pirani replaced César Cabral. 79 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ferman Basabe. Ronaldão Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal's late challenge caught a Oiteiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 88 in the game by Ronaldão Fontes from a close distance when the talented Ferman Basabe managed to make a qualified save. Monitor Huáscar's players were relieved. In the 89th minute of the match Oiteiras got a corner. Monitor Huáscar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renatinho Loyola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Renatinho Loyola made a great header on Oiteiras's corner, it was just that Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe managed to reach the ball for a save. Benigno Torne hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
