Dario Cavallo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Samurai Champions FC. Renan Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pastor Manilan. 0-5. When Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pastor Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Catarinense in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Mané Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Pastor Manilan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the game, Samurai Champions FC's Jeferson Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Pastor Manilan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Samurai Champions FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
