When Astor Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's protests and gave Astor Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Cedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedric Frazier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Johnathan Mohr fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charlotte FC's protests and gave Johnathan Mohr a yellow card for diving instead. Charlotte FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Amador Gabrio scored to the left of an out of position Shannon Marquez, making the score, 2-0. Hugo Cedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Dobbs in the 32nd minute of play. Roque Calvet charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Calvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Savier was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Calvet came free, but Shannon Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Fausto Savier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Gabrio in the 62nd minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Shannon Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Savier in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shannon Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Fausto Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shannon Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Savier came free, but Shannon Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Roderigo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Roque Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Savier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
