With a little luck, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Alemdar Uğurel got control of the ball when Pedro Luís Arósio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Davut Ongul during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi got a freekick which was hit by Ali Kaan Zeki. Zé Carlos Tasso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With 34 minutes on the clock, Jeferson Prado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Montesclarense E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Marcos Figueiredo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tostão Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Davut Ongul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gencalp Seferoğlulları kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Yavuzalp Ozansu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Figueiredo in the 81st minute of play forced SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goalkeeper Alemdar Uğurel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zé Carlos Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Carlos Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Uğurel having to interfere. Alemdar Uğurel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Pedro Luís Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alemdar Uğurel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Despite being the better team, Montesclarense E.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
