Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Balus Treter's Edgar Bokan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Bokan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Pereira having to make a save. In the 3rd minute, Balus Treter's Edgar Bokan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Balus Treter were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Arsenal de Gols F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Bokan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Bokan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this César Pereira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elói Barreto managed to work through Balus Treter's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elói Barreto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 15 minutes in the game, Ture Hölzer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without César Pereira having to interfere. César Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Bokan in the 21st minute. The supporters of Balus Treter booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Ezequiel Fernandes got a free kick in the 24th minute. César Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Bokan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Ezequiel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute of the match Balus Treter got a corner. Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Bokan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ezequiel Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elói Barreto took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Battista Tünnissen. Battista Tünnissen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Christer Hellmann kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 1-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Waldir Matorin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christer Hellmann hit a great ball. Remo Mello's late challenge caught a Balus Treter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Remo Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Battista Tünnissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Barreto in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Zenobio Walendi got a free kick in the 71st minute. Battista Tünnissen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Abreu in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Zenobio Walendi got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Elói Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
