FalconsB FCB's Romulo Locaio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FalconsB FCB from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Agostinho Maraschin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romulo Locaio. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Romulo Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Maraschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Locaio made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Joel Holm sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Llope during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FalconsB FCB's zone, Joel Holm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Locaio came out of the goal and Joel Holm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Agostinho Maraschin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Fausto Errando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FalconsB FCB and the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FalconsB FCB's Fausto Errando got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Efraim to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Pedro Paes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Locaio. FalconsB FCB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Pedro Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, FalconsB FCB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Holm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FalconsB FCB's Romulo Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paes in the 35th minute of play. Prudencio Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Locaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Maraschin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ignacio Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Fernandes having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Agostinho Maraschin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Hugo Garaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Holm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romulo Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FalconsB FCB's Fausto Errando got a free kick in the 58th minute. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Pedro Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Holm in the 60th minute of play forced FalconsB FCB's goalkeeper Romulo Locaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Maraschin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Herminio Orain from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Wellington Fernandes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Holm in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Locaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romulo Locaio came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Joel Holm. But to his dismay, Joel Holm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Fausto Errando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Wellington Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, FalconsB FCB's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Maraschin came free, but Romulo Locaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Prudencio Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Pedro Paes made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Locaio. FalconsB FCB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fully deserved thier win.
