Leonardo Mineiro's late challenge caught a Motu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Motu's Teddy Garcha got a free kick in the 24th minute. Teddy Garcha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doriva de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Garcha in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Horacio Harriet hit a great ball. Sacha Tutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Valadares in the 38th minute of the match. Motu's Teddy Garcha got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Anaya. Horacio Harriet kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy Garcha was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Teddy Garcha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva de Queirós was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute Horacio Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teddy Garcha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Garcha came free, but Doriva de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Horacio Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Motu were victorious despite being under pressure from Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ for much of the match.
