After 2 minutes, Tang Yu Jing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dundee and the Victoria Mlawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tang Yu Jing hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Peeter Bonetti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Lenertej in the 8th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Dundee's goalie and right to Marek Zukowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Dundee's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Leon Kolbe struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Peeter Bonetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victoria Mlawa. FC Dundee's Peeter Bonetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Lenertej in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Leon Kolbe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Mlawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Tang Yu Jing got a free kick in the 21st minute. Victoria Mlawa's Lew Jaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pogi Hanson in the 23rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Lew Jaszynski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute Leon Kolbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peeter Bonetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lew Jaszynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pogi Hanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lew Jaszynski made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pogi Hanson sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Victoria Mlawa's Dominik Banan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dominik Banan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Victoria Mlawa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dominik Banan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 35 minutes into the game, one of Victoria Mlawa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victoria Mlawa:s Lew Jaszynski showed great skill when he stopped Hristo Botev:s penalty. Hristo Botev took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lew Jaszynski. Lew Jaszynski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Victoria Mlawa's goalkeeper Lew Jaszynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pogi Hanson. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Seitse to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Kim Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Jaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hristo Botev scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lew Jaszynski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 played minutes Victoria Mlawa got a freekick which was hit by Marek Zukowski. In the 67th minute Hristo Botev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Jaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match FC Dundee got a corner. Victoria Mlawa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hristo Botev ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hristo Botev made a great header on FC Dundee's corner, it was just that Victoria Mlawa's Lew Jaszynski managed to reach the ball for a save. Ksawery Byczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Victoria Mlawa's Leon Kolbe got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lew Jaszynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Seitse in the 88th minute of play. Jurand Lenertej might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peeter Bonetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Lenertej ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Peeter Bonetti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peeter Bonetti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.
