CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Aaron Karlstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. Aaron Karlstedt came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Alumiara SD's Ruben Estebe. But to his dismay, Ruben Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Estebe came free, but Aaron Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Gaston Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Estebe in the 22nd minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Aaron Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Karlstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Erruki made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Aaron Karlstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Alumiara SD had played much better football throughout.
