The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Mike Jefferies recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tome Bencoiechea. Mike Jefferies showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Jefferies. Tommy Sparks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tome Bencoiechea made a huge save. Iker Flores hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Tome Bencoiechea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pete Pope in the 14th minute. Kiko Ponce De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Trevor Burns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tome Bencoiechea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kyle Payne in the 22nd minute. Kiko Ponce De Leon charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Ponce De Leon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kiko Ponce De Leon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The long shot by Russ Murray in the 24th minute really tested Tome Bencoiechea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tome Bencoiechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Dimmock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Cabezas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Tommy Sparks from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Tome Bencoiechea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tome Bencoiechea came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorking United FC's Darius Dimmock. But to his dismay, Darius Dimmock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Darius Dimmock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tome Bencoiechea was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pete Pope to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Pope in the 52nd minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Tome Bencoiechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darius Dimmock kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Trevor Burns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Bodelon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Sobrecastell UD booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Dimmock in the 63rd minute of play. After 63rd play minutes Darius Dimmock shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Tome Bencoiechea and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sobrecastell UD's zone, Darius Dimmock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tome Bencoiechea came out of the goal and Darius Dimmock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Russ Murray fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorking United FC's protests and gave Russ Murray a yellow card for diving instead. Russ Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Dorking United FC's Darius Dimmock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tome Bencoiechea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 73 minutes into the game, Nicky Conway threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sobrecastell UD's Edur Tarin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pete Pope took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tome Bencoiechea. Tome Bencoiechea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Tome Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Jefferies, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Darius Dimmock made a precise shot to the right of Tome Bencoiechea. Sobrecastell UD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 89 minutes into the game, Edur Tarin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorking United FC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Edur Tarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes of play, Dorking United FC's Pete Pope made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tome Bencoiechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorking United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
