In the 21st minute of the match ALMA GUERREIRA got a corner. Mala FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulisses Vinhas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mala FC's goalie and right to Bebeto de Godoi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mala FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Murilo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mala FC booed when ALMA GUERREIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Neves made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bebeto de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Vladimir Neves made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tião Marinho sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Marinho got free with Vladimir Neves in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mala FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Murilo Barros 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Barros in the 35th minute of play. Murilo Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bebeto de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Vladimir Neves made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Bebeto de Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimir Neves. The goal made the score 4-0. Bebeto de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Neves having to make a save. Vladimir Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tião Marinho in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Berger was the one to do the kick off. Laerte da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laerte da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimir Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Godoi in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Tião Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, ALMA GUERREIRA's Tião Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Wilson Tavares hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Joel da Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Vladimir Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Washington Berger hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Murilo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALMA GUERREIRA's Joel da Silva pulled a muscle in his leg after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 80th match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Barros in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Bebeto de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sebastião Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Neves. Mala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. If Murilo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
