To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vladimir Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Afonso Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Verde FC's protests and gave Afonso Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Afonso Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Madureira in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Mala FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dida Falcão hit a great ball. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Neves came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Afonso Baiano. But to his dismay, Afonso Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Vladimir Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Baiano in the 22nd minute of the match. Mala FC's Vladimir Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Madureira in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mala FC's Washington Berger got a free kick in the 26th minute. Afonso Baiano scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimir Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Sampaio during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dida Falcão lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Falcão. The audience held their breath when Claudinei Duarte in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vladimir Neves's left hand side. In the 39th minute Luís Fernando Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Arí Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vladimir Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Verde FC the free kick. Samuel Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Afonso Baiano scored to the left of an out of position Vladimir Neves, making the score, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Baiano got free with Vladimir Neves in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Fernando Barros scored 0-9 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimir Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Villa Verde FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mala FC throughout the match.
