Taci Argün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Ibon having to interfere. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Taci Argün. If Eliseo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Ibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Lobo in the 9th minute. Isaac Ibon made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Taci Argün sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Augusto Xabier got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jonathan Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leon Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Magallanes's Leon Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Thomas in the 19th minute of play. Eulalio Indalecio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leon Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berni y Benja FC. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Augusto Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Eliseo Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berni y Benja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Berni y Benja FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eliseo Thomas hit a great ball. Isaac Ibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taci Argün in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Indalecio to make the kick off. Isaac Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Lobo in the 55th minute of the match. Leon Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eulalio Indalecio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Berni y Benja FC's Jonathan Atarrabi got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Magallanes's zone, Eulalio Indalecio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Oliverio came out of the goal and Eulalio Indalecio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Eliseo Thomass short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Leon Oliverio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Berni y Benja FC defense, Augusto Xabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Ibon. The Berni y Benja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Ibon should have stopped the shot. If Eulalio Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Club Atlético Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ma Peng Yuan to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Fidel Jesco in the 80th minute really tested Leon Oliverio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Isaac Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taci Argün in the 81st minute of play. Mauro Lobo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Ibon. Isaac Ibon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Geofredo in the 91st minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Leon Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvano Geofredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Oliverio. That made the score 2-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Berni y Benja FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Magallanes.
