Yann Scotts short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Halil İbrahim Tanuğur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yann Scott kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, İsmail Orhun Cantekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Orhun Cantekin came free, but Sabri Fouquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MANLE's Halil İbrahim Tanuğur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC MANLE from getting a goal against them. Greg Santoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil İbrahim Tanuğur having to interfere. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Virapin in the 44th minute of the match. Yann Scott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Halil İbrahim Tanuğur made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berk Gürdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, La Pointe Courte's Thibaut Mazieres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to La Pointe Courte getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jean-Pascal Hingant hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, FC MANLE's İsmail Orhun Cantekin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabri Fouquet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when FC MANLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercüment Özerhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Mathys Guigon was substituted for Dominique Virapin. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Patxi Seux replaced Thibaut Mazieres. La Pointe Courte's Tim Quantin was substituted for Wilfried Mahé. After a rather tough play, FC MANLE's Ercüment Özerhan got a free kick in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, John Holmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil İbrahim Tanuğur. FC MANLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Holmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, John Holmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pointe Courte's supporters rose to their feet, but John Holmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC MANLE's zone, John Holmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur came out of the goal and John Holmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when FC MANLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüce Tuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, John Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC MANLE's Halil İbrahim Tanuğur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yann Scott in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Pointe Courte had played much better football throughout.
