In the 8th minute, Tom Løland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Handi's late challenge caught a Sagene IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Handi helped the player get up and apologised. Abelardo Handi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Thomas Jansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Martin Berdaitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olav Westad skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Tom Løland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagene IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Montserrat the free kick. After 28 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Tom Løland. After 30 minutes of play Atlético Montserrat's Cesar Ted was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cesar Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Severo Cutberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Olav Westad made a huge save. Vetle Bårdsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sagene IF's Olav Westad got control of the ball when Severo Cutberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Orlondo got free with Olav Westad in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Gurutz to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaias Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Luisito Fix notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sagene IF's Olav Westad. Olav Westad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Atlético Montserrat's Baltasar Valiente got control of the ball when Ole-Einar Opsahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sagene IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Montserrat.
