With a little luck, Manfredi AFC's Elmas Duro got control of the ball when Ole-Einar Opsahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elmas Duro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes Manfredi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Baladi. Vetle Bårdsen in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elmas Duro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ole-Einar Opsahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmas Duro having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Vetle Bårdsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagene IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vetle Bårdsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ole-Einar Opsahl made the kick off in the second half. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Manfredi AFC's Jose Iyan in the 51st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Olav Westad was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sagene IF through an amazing save. Elmas Duro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Runar Nyvoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Ole-Einar Opsahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmas Duro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmas Duro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 85th minute, Runar Nyvoll ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elmas Duro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ole-Einar Opsahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elmas Duro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Runar Nyvoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
