SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 3rd minute of play. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 6th minute of the match. Sebastiaan Hofland hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Heinrich Langer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Otten and the SCs StarS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jan Hendrik Kregel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mirco Maier in the 15th minute. With an all-out effort, SC Otten's Jan Hendrik Kregel threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 18th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damir Preußner got free with Jan Hendrik Kregel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Hendrik Kregel was a little too slow when Mel Ecker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Jan Hendrik Kregel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Mel Ecker kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Carels during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SCs StarS's Andy Carels got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pieter-Jan Wehkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Evert Oorthuis hit a great ball. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SCs StarS from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Otten booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiaan Hofland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play, SC Otten's Mirco Maier made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Hendrik Kregel was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen was substituted for Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt. 66 minutes into the game, Wilfred Deuring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SCs StarS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Otten the free kick. After 66 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Deuring. Jan Hendrik Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinrich Langer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Rudi Tenhagen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Hendrik Kregel was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Jan Hendrik Kregel came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Otten's Rudi Tenhagen. But to his dismay, Rudi Tenhagen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Rudi Tenhagen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th match minute, SC Otten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Tenhagen to maneuver through the defense. Evert Oorthuis's late challenge caught a SC Otten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Oorthuis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SCs StarS's Evert Oorthuis got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Vielmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Hendrik Kregel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 92nd minute Damir Preußner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hendrik Kregel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Otten booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Oorthuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Ronnie Schilder came free, but Jan Hendrik Kregel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the SC Otten players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
