The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. WOLVES FC's 任适战 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deimantas Valys in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Juozas Zelmikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 任适战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 莫康凌 in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Deimantas Valys notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of WOLVES FC's 任适战. 任适战 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Redas Merkelis. 26 minutes into the match, WOLVES FC's 莫康凌 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldas Saulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, WOLVES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 徐霆斌 to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th match minute, WOLVES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 梅扬榕 to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Deimantas Valys put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of 任适战. 谢鹏辰 lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of WOLVES FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Geležinis Vilkas:s goal. The goalkeeper, 任适战, was totally fooled by Geležinis Vilkas's Redas Merkelis, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 47th minute, Jogaila Jameikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deimantas Valys made a kick off. After a rather tough play, WOLVES FC's 康义振 got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a defensive mix-up in WOLVES FC's zone, Deimantas Valys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 任适战 came out of the goal and Deimantas Valys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Geležinis Vilkas's Paulius Dabulskis got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫康凌 in the 66th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Aldas Saulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of WOLVES FC booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juozas Zelmikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Juozas Zelmikas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. WOLVES FC's 任适战 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deimantas Valys in the 79th minute of play. Jogaila Jameikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Juozas Zelmikas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 任适战 was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 徐霆斌 hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Geležinis Vilkas's zone, 莫康凌 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldas Saulis came out of the goal and 莫康凌 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
