Edelmiro Martxot struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Flavio Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aves Negras. Severino Gil's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mukenio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Gil helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Severino Gil. In the 11th minute, Nunez Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leo Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Desiderio Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mukenio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Torrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Sebastian Torrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Torrico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Sanchez charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Sanchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nunez Sanchez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A hard shot 29 in the game by Sebastian Torrico from a close distance when the talented Flavio Crescencio managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Mukenio's players were relieved. Benito Salomon came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mukenio's Cristo Bermudo. But to his dismay, Cristo Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Deportivo Mukenio's Maximiliano Todor got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Nunez Sanchez got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Nunez Sanchez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Sebastian Torrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes of play, Aves Negras's Sebastian Torrico made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Crescencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Fausto Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Goi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Torrico was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Mukenio's Cristo Bermudo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Deportivo Mukenio's Flavio Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Torrico in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Deportivo Mukenio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Torrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Crescencio having to interfere. The supporters of Aves Negras booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Urko. Aves Negras's Benito Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Bermudo in the 91st minute of play. Agustin Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
