The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metodi Kashov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Paredes Campderros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vasil Veselinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Astillero del Guayas defense, Nykteus Kouches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Huarte. The Astillero del Guayas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Huarte should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Nykteus Kouches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Huarte was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Vasil Veselinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Spiro Getzov fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue avalanche's protests and gave Spiro Getzov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Blue avalanche's Spiro Getzov got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Pablo-Enrique Oneca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue avalanche the free kick. After 57 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Dani Galiana. Blue avalanche's Vasil Veselinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Blue avalanche's zone, Dani Galiana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasil Veselinski came out of the goal and Dani Galiana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Huarte made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nykteus Kouches sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 65 in the game by Nykteus Kouches from a close distance when the talented Walter Huarte managed to make a qualified save. Astillero del Guayas's players were relieved. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilcho Dragiyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stiliyan Petrov charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stiliyan Petrov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Blue avalanche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stiliyan Petrov to maneuver through the defense. When Paredes Campderros came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Astillero del Guayas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paredes Campderros couldn't finish the play. Vasil Veselinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Sola in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Javier Landeras. Nykteus Kouches struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Walter Huarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue avalanche. In the 79th minute, Dani Galiana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasil Veselinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Vasil Veselinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Landeras in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nykteus Kouches in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blue avalanche were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Astillero del Guayas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yosif Paunchev took the corner. Walter Huarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nykteus Kouches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spiro Getzov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Huarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Spiro Getzov slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 91st minute. Astillero del Guayas were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Blue avalanche to leave the ground with a draw.
