Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) KS Powstańcy's Rafal Hajder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, KS Powstańcy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Siekierski to maneuver through the defense. If Adam Adamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norbert Jeziorkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaarle Väätäinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Heikki Niinimaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Savon Palloseura's zone, Tomasz Nocny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niilo Myötänen came out of the goal and Tomasz Nocny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Adam Adamus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Powstańcy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Norbert Jeziorkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kuokkanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Adamus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Niilo Myötänen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kaarle Väätäinen struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Norbert Jeziorkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
