Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Savon Palloseura's Niilo Myötänen got control of the ball when Haroldo Recife tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Niilo Myötänen managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Emanuel Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfredo Cabral in the 56th minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Manfredo Cabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niilo Myötänen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mika Viitanen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Manfredo Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niilo Myötänen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sahnoyan Şahbey. In the 69th minute, Savon Palloseura's Jan Kuokkanen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Valdemar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Kuokkanen in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Betinho Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jan Kuokkanen charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Kuokkanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Geovânio Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 95 in the game by Sahnoyan Şahbey from a close distance when the talented Valdemar Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s players were relieved. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Savon Palloseura's performance. The match ended with a win for Savon Palloseura.
