With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Sport Club's Joel Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 巩飞震 in the 20th minute of play. Leon Sport Club's Dagoberto Severo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 贺梁景 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 巩飞震 in the 27th managed to get into a good position. Caco Guerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 贺梁景 came out and tried to block the shot, but Caco Guerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Joel Umea as he didn't even see the shot coming.
