After 17 played minutes, Wambalamba FC's Kauan Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afiq Hongyi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wambalamba FC reached it. In the 22nd minute, Dinei Goiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afiq Hongyi. The goal made the score 1-0. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Hock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afiq Hongyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Campidelis in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Nagasaki in the 38th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Tan went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Hock hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Goiano got free with Afiq Hongyi in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Kauan Soares lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Naldo Mello had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Felix Braddell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Afiq Hongyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Lúcio Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 the free kick. Lúcio Pinho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match.
