Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias James kicked off to start the match. Andréas Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Gervasio Bortzaioriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparka & Spring BK. Dick Hedlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Bortzaioriz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hedlund in the 6th minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sparka & Spring BK's Sven-Edvin Dahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes of play, Sparka & Spring BK's Alfred Vallengren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Bortzaioriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute Alfred Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Hurko hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Andréas Nyberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hedlund in the 21st minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Francesco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göran Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Lindström during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sparka & Spring BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Peter Lindström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Alfred Vallengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Alfred Vallengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Vallengren in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Vallengren in the 41st minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dick Hedlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfred Vallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Göran Västberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias James in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Sparka & Spring BK's Alfred Vallengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Bortzaioriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfred Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Pincha FC defense, Dick Hedlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Bortzaioriz. The Pincha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Bortzaioriz should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Francesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göran Västberg was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Pincha FC's Venancio Raymond seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Venancio Raymond the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pincha FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Venancio Raymond had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gervasio Bortzaioriz had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfred Vallengren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Alfred Vallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gervasio Bortzaioriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Vallengren in the 82nd minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sparka & Spring BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
