Dick Hedlund started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, The Best Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Xavier to maneuver through the defense. If Verner Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sparka & Spring BK's goalkeeper Göran Västberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Sven-Edvin Dahlbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparka & Spring BK and the The Best Ones players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Best Ones's Tiago Quirino got a free kick in the 13th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Wellington Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Best Ones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparka & Spring BK the free kick. The supporters of Sparka & Spring BK booed when The Best Ones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Vallengren took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Dante. Erik Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Sparka & Spring BK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alfred Vallengren hit a great ball. Alfred Vallengren charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Vallengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Alfred Vallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Vallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to The Best Ones getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Wellington Xavier hit a great ball. Erik Dante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Vallengren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sparka & Spring BK's Dick Hedlund got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Veiga made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, The Best Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Best Ones's goalkeeper Erik Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sparka & Spring BK's Alfred Vallengren got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Alfred Vallengren off the ground. Erik Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Best Ones's Erik Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Nyberg in the 73rd minute of play. Erik Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 80 played minutes Sparka & Spring BK got a freekick which was hit by Dan Holmgren. The Best Ones's Naldo Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Sparka & Spring BK's Sven-Edvin Dahlbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Andréas Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes The Best Ones got a freekick which was hit by Antônio da Cunha. After a defensive mix-up in Sparka & Spring BK's zone, Wellington Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Västberg came out of the goal and Wellington Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Best Ones players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sparka & Spring BK.
