Ricardo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Borges in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes OSASCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Fernandes. Jonathan Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliciano Demesio. OSASCO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ defense, Lisandro Masses kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xandinho Bomba. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xandinho Bomba should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Leonel Medeiros got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, OSASCO FC's Ademar Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xandinho Bomba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Giuseppe da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliciano Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe da Costa in the 37th minute of the match. Hélder Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Masses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Xandinho Bomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Barral in the 47th minute of play forced OSASCO FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gugu Silva to make the kick off. The supporters of OSASCO FC booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Lisandro Masses cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Xandinho Bomba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisandro Masses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Xandinho Bomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, OSASCO FC's Hélder Maciel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xandinho Bomba was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Masses in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xandinho Bomba saved Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Masses came free, but Xandinho Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Masses in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Masses in the 83rd minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Trigo in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Amaral in the 93rd minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OSASCO FC fully deserved thier win.
